Your Support Makes a Difference

The Human Rights Center is supported by foundations, government agencies, and individuals who care about protecting and promoting human rights in the United States and around the world. Philanthropic contributions help to support

  • Travel for researchers to visit conflict-ridden areas to interview those most affected by war crimes and human rights abuses.
  • Printing and disseminating reports used by policymakers and advocates to change abusive practices and bring criminals to justice.
  • Purchasing equipment, such as digital cameras, handheld data-collection devices, global positioning devices, and voice recorders, used to gather evidence and testimony.
  • Fellowships for graduate students to pursue human rights-related fieldwork.
  • Training for professional human rights researchers and advocates to strengthen their skills in empirical research methods.
